How this resource was made
Methodology and limits
The frozen 30 August 2026 edition was created from an aggregate of public-eligible directory records associated with one of the supported localities in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee, or Sarasota county. The live explorer recomputes the same approved public fields on the server. Both exclude suppressed and confirmed-closed records and never read contact emails, owner data, raw imports, claims, call records, outreach history, credentials, or other private enrichment. Normalization maps each record to the linked locality where available, otherwise to a supported city-name alias; unmatched records are excluded and reported in the live response.
- The underlying directory source can contain stale, missing, duplicated, or differently formatted records; a source date is not independent confirmation of every field.
- A listing can serve multiple communities; a listed city, map coordinate, or service-area text does not prove service at every address.
- Services, hours, and emergency availability are incomplete unless the public source or later verification supports them, and they can change after publication.
- The study does not estimate price, response time, licensing, business quality, capacity, market share, consumer preference, or the complete number of plumbing businesses in Tampa Bay.
